From any point in the city, it is impossible not to notice the mountain that, at 3,152 meters above sea level, overlooks Bogotá. Monserrate is one of Bogotá’s most iconic landmarks, not only because of its natural setting but also because of its religious significance. Its sanctuary has welcomed millions of pilgrims and travelers since its foundation in 1640.

After returning to the city, the tour continues with a panoramic tour of Bogotá’s historic center, also known as “La Candelaria.” During the tour, you will visit the Gold Museum, home to approximately 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian artifacts.

The tour then continues with a visit to the Mint Museum and the Botero Museum, where works by renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero are exhibited in various artistic techniques, including painting, drawing, and sculpture.

The tour concludes with a panoramic visit to Bolívar Square and its surrounding landmarks, including the Primatial Cathedral, Nariño Palace, Liévano Palace, and the Palace of Justice. Return to the hotel.
