Day 1 | Rio de Janeiro
Arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG). Reception by our staff and transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 2 | Rio de Janeiro
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Today we will take a shared tour to Sugarloaf Mountain for a beautiful visit at nearly 400 meters above sea level. The first cable car takes passengers to the top of Morro da Urca, offering spectacular views of the entire bay and its surrounding islands. From Morro da Urca, we continue on a second cable car to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, which rises 395 meters above sea level and provides a 360-degree view of the entire city. This tour also includes panoramic visits to the beaches of Rio de Janeiro’s South Zone. Return to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 3 | Rio de Janeiro
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Day at leisure. As an optional tour, we recommend learning about the history of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil with a visit to the Imperial City of Petrópolis, taking a walking city tour through downtown Rio de Janeiro, joining an educational tour of a favela, exploring the nature of the Botanical Garden and Tijuca Forest, or discovering the city’s newest attractions. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 4 | Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguaçu
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Transfer to Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG). Arrival at Foz do Iguaçu International Airport. Reception by our staff and regular transfer to the selected hotel. In the evening, we recommend the optional Rafain Dinner Show. Overnight stay.
Day 5 | Foz do Iguaçu
Breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, departure to visit the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. At the park entrance, there is a visitor center equipped with restrooms, a medical center, souvenir shops, and informational panels about the park’s biodiversity. Transportation within the park is provided by an ecological train that connects the main points of the National Park. Visiting the Argentine side allows for three different circuits, offering varied perspectives of this natural wonder. The first stop is Cataratas Station, from where you can access either the Upper Circuit or the Lower Circuit. Another must-see highlight is Devil’s Throat, reached after walking about 1 km along walkways over the river. In the afternoon, visit to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. After passing the visitor center, we continue along a road that leads to the magnificent falls. Arrival at the Falls viewpoint, followed by a light 1,200-meter walk. During the walk, you will enjoy panoramic views of the various waterfalls and, at the end, a fantastic close-up of Devil’s Throat. The tour ends at the upper part of the falls, where there is a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the upper Iguazu River, as well as a restaurant and handicraft shop. Before returning to the hotel, we recommend the optional Macuco Safari experience or a visit to the Bird Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 6 | Foz do Iguaçu - Manaus
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Regular transfer to Foz do Iguaçu Airport (IGU). Arrival at Manaus International Airport (MAO). Reception by our staff and private transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 7 | Manaus - Jungle Lodge
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, pick-up at the hotel for transfer to Evolução Ecolodge. On the way to the lodge, located in the Amazon rainforest, we will experience the Meeting of the Waters phenomenon. Lunch at a floating restaurant and continuation to the lodge. In the afternoon, we will take a short canoe ride through the Igapós (seasonally flooded forest) and small streams to observe wildlife in the floodplains, with the possibility of seeing monkeys and sloths. In the late afternoon, piranha fishing and sunset viewing. 7:00 pm – Dinner and evening at leisure.
Day 8 | Jungle Lodge
Breakfast in the morning followed by a jungle walk with a specialized guide, where we will walk among towering trees and breathe the pure air of the rainforest, while learning about the flora and fauna of this remarkable region. We will visit a native’s home to see how riverbank families live and learn about their customs and traditions. This group, known as “caboclos” (a mix of indigenous, European, and Amazonian heritage), mainly lives from cassava cultivation and the production of traditional cassava flour. The history of the Amazon population and the rubber cycle will also be explained. Lunch at midday, followed by some rest time, and then a visit to the Acajatuba Community, where the local population lives from cassava farming, fishing, and harvesting regional fruits such as tucumã, cupuaçu, and açaí, as well as rubber extraction and Brazil nuts. In the evening, farewell dinner and guided night excursion to spot caimans and observe nocturnal wildlife. We may see frogs, snakes, and nocturnal caimans, which are more active at night. The guide uses a flashlight to locate caimans and other small creatures in the water and trees.
Day 9 | Jungle Lodge - Manaus
Breakfast and free morning to swim, relax, or enjoy the lodge facilities. 10:00 am – Departure to Manaus and transfer to the hotel in Manaus. Check-in. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city of Manaus. Overnight stay.
Day 10 | Manaus - Salvador da Bahia
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Private transfer to Manaus Airport (MAO). Arrival at Salvador International Airport (SSA). Reception by our staff and regular transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 11 | Salvador da Bahia
Breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, we depart for a historical city tour, where we will have the opportunity to discover some of the most important sites in Brazil’s history. We begin at Farol da Barra, the first lighthouse in the Americas (1698), now a popular spot where locals gather at sunset. We continue toward the Upper City, passing through Corredor da Vitória, where colonial mansions still stand, as well as the neighborhoods of Campo Grande and Piedade. In the Upper City, we walk through the cobblestone streets of Pelourinho, where we can visit some of the most beautiful churches, such as São Francisco de Assis Church and Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos Church (entrance fees not included). We conclude this part of the tour at Largo do Pelourinho, with the option to visit the Jorge Amado House Foundation. We then walk to the viewpoint of the Lacerda Elevator, from where we can admire the Lower City and part of All Saints Bay. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, we recommend the Balé Folclórico da Bahia show (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday). Overnight stay.
Day 12 | Salvador da Bahia
Buffet breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport. End of services.
